The performance and reliability people have come to expect from the EZDigiMagic™ brand of direct memory card-to-DVD burners is now available in a desktop format. As a compliment to its successful line of portable CD/DVD burners, EZPnP™, the manufacturer of EZDigimagic™, introduces its new DM550 desktop product series.

These sturdy new desktop units have many of the same great features as the company’s portable products, including: one-touch direct copy from flash memory card, disc-spanning, USB 2.0 interface, and time-stamping. Plus, there’s an added benefit: by utilizing
standard half-height DVD drives—instead of slim, notebook drives—the new products offer users
enhanced value, speed performance and increased ruggedness. This makes the DM550 series a perfect backup device for studio, office and home environments.

With a weight of just under 3 pounds, the EZDigiMagic™ desktop units are also easy to handle and transport—whether it’s on a vacation, or on a trip to-and-from the office/studio. All units have a multifunction LCD display, and are AC powered. EZPnP™ is currently shipping two models: a base memory card-to-DVD/CD burner version; and a “USB host” model that also allows users to copy files directly from a camera or USB flash drive.

A third desktop model will follow in the near future. The company will introduce an enhanced version with the USB host feature and a color viewing screen. This will allow users to preview their photos either before or after they’ve burned them to a disc.

Suggested retail pricing for DM550 series is: $259.00 for the base DM550-D20 model; $299.00 for model DM550-U20 with USB host feature; and $349.00 for the deluxe DM550-P20 model with photo viewer.
